Environmental Justice Academy (EJA) focuses on recruitment of African Americans who live in neighborhoods most impacted by toxic waste sites.

- Engaging youth of color in environmental issues
- Impact of Superfund sites on neighborhoods of color and surrounding comunities
- Support equitable and resilient infrastructure
- Impact of climate change on community health
- Economic impact of environmental injustices on communities of color
How to participate
- Participants must pre-register to join. A pre-program survey will be included as part of the electronic registration process.
- In order to complete the Academy and graduate, Participants will be asked to commit to not missing more than 2 sessions.
- Each session will be 2.5 hours with a 15-minute screen or social break.
- All programs will be hosted virtually via Zoom
